May 1, 2024 Federal Court Judicial Review Application
The Court was asked to apply PIPEDA to personal financial information of physicians that the Ontario Medical Association collected and gave to Statistics Canada. StatsCan commissioned a ‘study’, which in turn would be used in an Arbitration with the Government to determine doctor fees. A group of doctors applied to the Court for Judicial Review.
