Based on a survey of 800 businesses:
80% of businesses that responded say protection of customer personal information is of high importance.
76% of businesses say they have taken steps to comply with Privacy laws.
56% have a designated Privacy Officer.
53% have a complaints procedure.
50% have an internal Privacy policy.
33% provide staff with Privacy training.
